1、Introduction
Cardiff University and our university are cooperating to open a summer internship program: around 3 weeks, from July 31st to August 20th, 2016 (the date may be adjusted later). It is mainly about Low carbon technology and ecological architecture design studio. Cardiff University will give a certificate to those who passed his studio examination, which would be much helpful for applying for Master of this university, or of other universities.
In addition to the classroom teaching, you are going to visit different cities in Welsh and England, especially some famous architecture cases, and universities like AA School of Architecture (London), Cambridge University, etc. As for NCUT, this program can replace any 1 professional internship course, and offer 4 credits for the "Quality development".
2、Program details
（1）The classes and accommodation are set in Cardiff University.
（2）All determined by Cardiff University，the expenditure for each student is about ￡3900 pounds (including flight tickets, Visas, insurance, local accommodation and costs of arranged visits). The tuition is free.
（3）All classes are taught by Cardiff University’s teachers.（The main speaker is Prof. Phillip J. Jones, former president of the Architecture College in this university）.
（4）Program applicants and quotas：
All the students in our college (open for all the grades, Chinese and international students, undergraduates and graduate students). But graduates students cannot replace this studio with any of his/her lessons）
To encourage international communication, our college will give every participant a ￥4800 Yuan (RMB) internship grant.
Recruit quota：30 students. Generally, foreign students and Chinese students would each take 15 places. If number of participant is more than planned, we will only select those students who have relative higher credit grade points. On the other hand, we will also try to contact the university to increase the permitted quotas.
